Rapid urbanization and requirement of infrastructure, stable construction sites are not available. Therefore, there is a dire need for improvement marginal soils to be used as material. However, weak comprise saturated clays, fine silts, loose sand, which susceptible failure pose problems stability. this research aims study the strength microstructural behavior soft treated with nano-alumina (Al2O3) additive. In study, Al2O3 different percentages (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0%) by dry weight soil was added clayey subjected compaction unconfined compression tests. The tests showed that nano-Al2O3 (< stabilized exhibit higher unit lower water content compared untreated soils.
